Seminars are one of my favorite things to do! It is a chance to take a deep dive into a topic and get clear on the theory, background, and history of why we do things the way we do.
These talks can be done in an arena with a horse lending a helpful aid to the discussion, or they can be held in a location like a meeting room, or at a winery.
Topics include (but are in no way limited to) the history of horsemanship, tack and equipment, how horses think, overcoming fear, defensive riding, saddle fit, choosing bits and bitting, the use of tricks in training, foaling, handling young horses, grooming, and basically whatever else you might want to talk about.
I do these for local groups including adult riding clubs, Pony Club, 4-H, Scouts, and people who just ant to learn more about horses. These are often help in conjunction with a riding clinic out of town.
Costs vary depending on distance travelled and they type of group that is hosting. Please get in touch if you want to have a seminar.
